our story

Zahra and Marshall’s story began as co-residents, turned into a lasting friendship, and ultimately blossomed into a forever love.

 

Their paths initially crossed during an OB anesthesia rotation, where they were just two residents navigating the daily grind together. Although the groundwork for a friendship had been laid, it wasn’t until the pandemic and shelter-in-place that they grew exceptionally close.

 

They quickly realized that they had much more in common than they could ever have imagined and formed a deep connection over a short amount of time. Unfortunately, before anything more could be explored, Zahra moved to the east coast—3000 miles away.

 

Eventually, after over a year of video chatting almost every night (despite the time difference!), Zahra mustered up the courage to suggest that she and Marshall officially start dating, to which Marshall readily agreed.

 

And the rest is history!
